Not all lead sources have pre-built integrations. With inqoraa's webhook builder, you can capture leads from any platform or custom form.
What is a Webhook?
A webhook is a way for one application to send real-time data to another. When a lead comes in on your website or a third-party platform, a webhook instantly sends that data to inqoraa.
Creating Your Webhook Endpoint
In inqoraa dashboard: 1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Custom Webhooks 2. Click 'Create New Webhook' 3. Copy your unique webhook URL 4. Configure field mappings
Field Mapping
Map incoming data fields to inqoraa's standard fields: - name → Customer Name - email → Email Address - phone → Phone Number - message → Inquiry Details - source → Platform Label
Testing Your Webhook
Use tools like Postman or curl to send test data: curl -X POST your-webhook-url -d '{"name": "Test Customer", "email": "test@example.com", "message": "Test inquiry"}'
Common Use Cases
- Website contact forms - Custom landing pages - Third-party marketplace integrations - Email parsing (forward inquiries to your webhook email)
Security Best Practices
- Use HTTPS for all webhook endpoints - Implement webhook signature verification - Set up IP allowlisting if possible - Rotate webhook URLs periodically
